What is it like to go on a journey or a holiday to Fiji?

In autumn 2016 I went to Fiji for the first case. We had a few good reason for the journey. Third and probably most important is that my grandma went there in 1985 (she had made Nepal, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji) and would bring gifts.

I wanted to see Fiji - she talked about it very well. First thing I realized was how attentive Fiji Airways is. Flying was also very conscious - it was a very belated departures from the western coastline and it came 2 early mornings later, so that one had the whole afternoon in Fiji and could cope with the gentle timechang.

They were so friendly to my girl when we got to check-in and while I thought it was like the kindness of Singapore Airlines, it turned out to be a foreplay for the whole journey. If you are a small child's mother or father, it's difficult to overdo how much influence this has on your holiday - if you keep apologising that your baby is a baby, he or she carries you.

We' been to two resort. First one was just before Nadi on the artificial Denarau Isle. There is not much to see on this isle, but the resort is really nice and fashionable. There are shuttle services around the islands to the various resort and harbour - a starting point for outings.

The Sheraton mansions at the Starwood points. The price was great and the mansions were enormous - two large double rooms and a large sitting-room. Two neighboring resort were within walking distance - the Westin and the Sheraton - and you could use the room rates for everyone, and in the end you had 7 dining outlets.

and it was beautiful. It'?s difficult to hold Fiji responsible. In the middle of the weeks we changed to the Auberge, which was a part of the way around the whole archipelago (about 90 minutes driving time). Whilst the prize here was impudent, it was really no better than the Sheraton Villas at the end of the days (unless you really estimate the prize - there are only about 10 rooms in the Auberge).

Auberge has its own islands, which you can reserve for a full outing. You' re gonna have this whole isle to yourself, and it really is fantastic. On the south side of the isle there is bad rain, many heavy cloud and is more susceptible to drizzling compared to the Nadi side. So, I'd advise you to stay away from this part of the isle.

Anyway, it was a great vacation for the whole team. But, as I have children, I have already reserved another journey down (as Fiji Airways has added a SFO-NAN straight line and had a $850/round ticket sales - still with the $200 rebate for children! We stay in Denarau and continue our exploration of the island.
