U.S. Citizens card is necessary to complete all ISA programmes. New Zealand University Visas are stamps in your identity card that allow you to stay in New Zealand for your semester/year abroad. If you are studying in New Zealand for more than three month, you must apply for a New Zealand resident residence permit before you leave.

Non-U.S. nationals who have been in New Zealand for more than three month need a college or college degree program. If you are a foreign national, you may be required to fulfil certain conditions in order to be able to do so. Please contact your nearest German diplomatic mission or your nearest German diplomatic mission as soon as possible to find out the immigration regulations for the countries in which you will be enrolled.

Visiting VisaStudents who are US nationals and study in New Zealand for less than three month do not need to file a student visas request before leaving. You will be required to obtain a visitor's permit upon your arriving in New Zealand. In order to obtain a visitors visas, you must present a current pass, a minimum of NZ$1,000 and your travelroute.

Non-U.S. nationals who study in New Zealand for less than three month require a Visiting Entry Visas. Please visit the Immigration New Zealand website for information on visas and how to apply for them. The ISA advises you to research your consulate's needs immediately to begin the processing of the study permit.

Please note that the form and your request for a study permit will be downloaded from the Immigration New Zealand website and printed. You will also receive step-by-step guidance on how to fill in the form. When you have completed your Studentenvisumantrag and all necessary documents, send it to the New Zealand Embassy/Consulate.

Now you can fill out the form for a study permit on-line. For more information, please consult a New Zealand site specialist. They need a current pass. You will need to verify the expiry date of your card and ensure that it is in force at least 6 month after the end of the programme.

It is also important to make sure that your card is inscribed, otherwise it will be deemed void, which could postpone your depart. If you have filled out the form, you will be sent to the New Zealand Consulate or Embassy as soon as the following requirements are met: Students' visas are issued for the period of your semester/year abroad.
