Lanai Island Shuttle

The Lanai Island Shuttle

There is little infrastructure on the island, so you need to plan your transport in advance. A shuttle bus will take you to every ferry. A glance at the island shows you what paradise looks like. We' ve got a taxi service on the island. and drove it through town when he was on the island.

Lanai Shuttle Services - Lanai Forum

We' re leaving Honolulu (our home) and hope for an early shuttle to Lanai Town. I' ve been searching the web high and low, in the hope of finding a timetable for the shuttle. We' ve got to get to town by 7:45 and our plane leaves at 6:58. The thread has been discontinued due to apathy.

Four Season Manele Bay - Shuttle Service - Lanai Message Board

Hi - is there a regular shuttle service to Lanai City so you can visit different places? Yes, there is a shuttle that leaves on a regular basis from early in the mornings till later. The route is between Manele Bay and the lodge, with a stop in the centre of Lana'i City, in front of Hotel Lana'i.

Now I think it's $30+ per capita per sojourn. Enjoy a beautiful view on my favourite island! Accommodation in one of the four seasons will cost you $45 per passenger for an unrestricted shuttle bus ride. Review the timetable every single working Day. In Lanai City, I was waiting and waiting at the motel one Tuesday evening just to find out that I hadn't been left for a whole hour.......they had a different Tuesday itinerary.

Walk picture just when I thought I knew everything a intelligent Lanai visitors must know~have been missing and not the Lanai Culture Center in the town.

More about Lanai - Blue Ginger Café Lanai

A journey to Lanai is like a journey into the past. The Hawaiian Pineapple Company of James Dole purchased the island in December 1922 for $1.2 million and immediately began building a pilot town called Lanai City to accommodate the new migrant labourers from the Philippines, Korea and Japan.

Lanai Island would become the biggest pinapple orchard in the whole wide globe, producing ninety per cent of the world's highest-yet. Lanai City is perhaps the only municipality in Hawaii that is currently in the planning phase. It has a main parkland, known as Dole Parkland, which unites the city; all the small shops and banking, the postal service and the schools, the Hotel Lanai and the recreation centre, all surrounding the area.

There are some who think we have the most friendly inhabitants of the island. The thirty-three hundred inhabitants are all living within a distance of one metre of Dole Park. It is home to an eclectic blend of small companies and every small company on Lanai is a mum and pop-style farm, as most of the small city of America uses to be.

Blue Ginger Café is situated in the centre of Lanai City opposite Dole Park, on the intersection of 7a and Ilima Streets. When you stay at the Four Seasons Resort, board the comfortable Island Shuttle and get off at Hotel Lanai. Go down the hillside to the right and we are across Dole Park on Seventh Street and Ilima.

and Lanai has his part of the celebrity crowd. There are two mastery golfs, snorkelling, diving, snorkelling at Hulupoe Bay Marine Life Preserve, horse back rides, walking, kayaking, ocean angling and kilometres of secludedbeach. Lanai is the place to be if you want to relax and do nothing.

And, yes, it's the truth, one man, Larry Ellison, co-founder of Oracle Corporation, holds 98% of the island. It' a privately owned island where we welcome you all.
