Gabun International travel information

Though the programme has been started, there are cases of airline companies that refuse to provide a Gabon embarkation card for trips to Gabon if a traveller is not able to present a Gibun type GV before leaving. Temporary guests may remain in Gabon for up to 90 nights. Citizens with a card de sejour must apply for an entry visas at the DGDI before leaving Gabon.

It can take up to several months or even a few working hours to apply for an emigration permit, which can make an emergencies trip more complicated. In Gabon, there is a general reluctance to accept major debit and debit card payments, and almost always there is a demand from banks for payments in euros before they provide them.
