Scotch Islands & Lochs Cruise Tour

After your arrival in Edinburgh, your tour manager will meet you at your local Edinburgh hotels. When you arrive in Edinburgh, you are free to discover the historical center, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Strolling through the alleys of the mediaeval old town and the stylish Georgian New Town cafés, one can easily see why the town received this award.

Walk past award-winning contemporary architectural styles and imposing old houses constructed in the area' s characteristic gray stones, or stroll through the twisting alleys rising from the magnificent Royal Mile that stretches between Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace. The Edinburgh Castle itself could be an ideal place to discover.

Transfers to Edinburgh Waverly train to Inverness, where you will travel through some of the most amazing landscapes in the Highlands. Today we reach Craignure, where we drive to the breathtaking Duart Castle. Soon after we go back to the boat for luncheon and continue to Oban, where we take a walk through the whisky-distilleries.

After enjoying a little drama we head to McCaig's Tower, which resembles the Colosseum in Rome. We' ll spend our leisure in Scotland's magnificent Edinburgh and explore the mediaeval old town and the beautiful Georgian New Town patios. We' re enjoying the Duart Castle on the Isle of Mull, the MacLean Clan's headquarters, which had large estates in Argyll and the Inner Hebrides.

We' ll stop at Tobermory, known for its colorful seaside townhouses. From Glenfinnan we take the West Highland Line to enjoy a magnificent view of the Scottish Highlands. Approximately 10 a week before the trip starts, we will send a letter to all clients to inform them of the precise times of the group' departures and returns.
