Lanai Shuttle Cost
Costs for Lanai ShuttleBy ferry or flight to Lanai'i? - LaNai Forum
By boat or plane to Lanai'i? I' m trying to figure out whether to go to Lanai'i or take the boat. I plan to leave Kona after a week-long meeting and visit Lanai'i for 2 or 3 nights before returning to the continent. A possibility is a plane from Kona to Honolulu and then a connection to Lanai'i.
Myself, my first election takes me to Lanaii at 12 o'clock at midday, which gives me free lunch but it' also the most costly one for $270/person. As an alternative I can travel from Kona to Maui for much less - about $90/person for a one-way ticket, but I would have to calculate the cabare to Lahaina ($60) and the shuttle ($30).
It' $180/person, but it'll take me to Lanaii later in the afternoons. so I' d have to await the 3:15 dep. Well, I think that would be a wasted most of the time. I was able to either fly back via Maui or Honolulu on the way home.
I' m worried to take the boat back to Lahaina if there are any delay to get to the airfield in order to get to my travell. Seems a plane from Lanaii to Honolulu might be more dependable. I' d like to know from anyone who has done the take a shuttle over Maui or the flying over Honolulu.
I' d rather have the less expensive one, even if it is a little more expensive.
In Lana'i - Four Seasons'Shuttle Bus' Q&A
We' re going to Lana'i for the fourth of July and made a great Kama'aina-deal at the fs. It is a brief excursion and will probably concentrate on some snorkelling, walking and relaxation, with 2 full nights on the islands, plus the rest of the first one.
Timetable is continental OGG, then shuttle to the LNY boat (the trip to LNY is more than twice as expensive as the ferry). So, since Dollar is the only company on the Isle and I am sure their rates for the vacation weekends will be pretty high, we are considering using the Four Seasons shuttle service, which is available for $20 under the Kama'aina parcel.
When we go to the footpaths, to the city for supper, or find another snorkeling spot, would the shuttle find us accommodation, or is it better to hire a vehicle? What is the Kama'aina ratio at all? Sadly I can't reply your questioning, but I also person fitting looked a small indefinite quantity recently in F.S. Manele Bay as I wage a Travelzoo Smoke charge for as low as $259 per dark for a 4 dark act by 12/18/10 (7 era a time period group season inclusively high season ): http://hotels.travelzoo. com/hawaii-hotels/786421 I astonishment by how large indefinite quantity the Kama'aina charge can hit that as they virtually elasticity the apartment absent at $259.

Kama'aina rates are 235 for a room with views of the gardens, which is currently sold for 395 for my outings. There is also 50% discount on the shuttle, 20% discount on all meals and a wealth of other rebates and free-balls on the plot. The Kama'aina fare can be applied for from anywhere - but you will need a Hawaii driver's licence or identity document at check-in.
Lana'i is the only place I wouldn't rent a vehicle all the while. It' s not that far from the jetty to the Four Seasons - at least the one at Manele Bay, so a shuttle should work well. I would definitely choose the shuttle on the first day and then rent it every day if necessary.
There are not many cobbled streets on the isle, so it's not like you're doing a great exploration. This is one of the best beaches I have ever found for body-surfing. We' re going to Lana'i for the fourth of July and made a great Kama'aina-deal with the f. s.

Have a look at Adventure Lanai Ecocenter. Well since said, the shuttle will take you into the city to most places you want to beat (it's a 3 or 4 cluster area, anyway) as well as to the other F.S. estate (I missed which one specifically you stay in). Lastly, I examined a months or two ago, the kama`aina rates went for under $200.
Bundestwotschaft, some places do not approve of Kama`aina tariffs. Lastly, I examined a months or two ago, the kama`aina exchange went for under $200. This is 229 for Manele Bay - but if the chalet is not 180 or less, we will probably want to get out of trouble by taking the shuttle to the shore, where we will be spending most of our times when we are out of the city or play the game.
