The first work to be publicly presented in New Zealand is a 5.5 metre high statue by Tony Cragg. The Gow Langsford Gallery, the SCAPE Public Art Trust and the Philipp Family Foundation have brought this great work to Christchurch.
"It' s marvellous to have the chance to work with SCAPE in your 20. They were pioneers and ambitions in taking first-class PR to Christchurch [...] Our organizations had a long and mutually advantageous rapport, and the twentieth SCAPE celebration offered the ideal occasion to take a huge work by Tony Cragg to New Zealand.

The Parnell Galery regularly hosts a series of shows in its first storey showroom, which offers a wide view over the town to the War Memorial Museum and Rangitoto Island. The spacious and light-flooded upper storey galery is the ideal venue for the very much-loved two week-long shows that are awaited with excitement by Auckland's most experienced supporters of the arts every fortnight.
Throughout the years, the Parnell Galerie has built an amazing barn of New Zealand's mature and up-and-coming performers, giving the Auckland arts community an exhilarating freshness. The Parnell Galery specialises in painting, sculpting and artist editions from all over New Zealand, with street-level and first-storey exhibits in the Galery.
