Shideler Harpe was described in 2004 as an adorable miser who had worked in several subway editorial offices from New York City to Honolulu and spread his personal gospel of community and good humour. He has also tried his hand at political and PR work.

This all led to a fistful of articles, brief histories, great thoughts, angry opinions and other interesting and important literature collected over sixty years in the fields of journalists, PR and political work. Again Harpe has put together a great reading! He' s also won a few journalist prizes - some prestige, some not so much.

Now an adorable, out-of-work, eighty-six-year-old miser who lives in Sacramento, California, and devotes his life to the funding and guiding of stubborn young people.
