The Molokai Hawaii Beaches, West

Some of Molokai's most attractive beaches are secluded and perilous (especially in the cold season). If you are going to the shore, please observe these basic safety tips from lifeguards: Situated at the end of Kaluakoi Road. Snorkelling and snorkelling in the hot sun. Tenting is only permitted on the beaches below the line of green.

It is over three nautical mile long and more than 300 meters broad. It' one of the longest and most attractive beaches of the islands of Hawaii. Although the beaches are nice, they are often abandoned. It can be very unpleasant in stormy conditions, as heavy trade winds stir up sands.

Behind Kaluakoi Resort and just northern of the Kepuhi Beaches are the two Pohaku Mauliuli Beaches. There is little sandy on the first one, which is usually clouded by swells. Rock up the small escarpment to a beautiful, remote sandy shore.

On this coastline there are powerful streams and high waves, especially in the wintry season. Between Papohaku and Dixi Maru Cove. Situated to the south of Hale o Lono Harbor, this sandy spot is very sheltered. This is the last easy to reach sandy spot on this coastline, as Molokai Ranch has limited accessibility.
