Tavarua offers visitors overnight accommodation with numerous stops within a few kilometres of the island: Cloudburst, Restaurants, Tavarua Rights, Children's land, Swimming pools, Namotu Links, Wilkes Pass, Despair.

The Cloudbreak is located about three kilometres from Namotu. One of the world's most renowned open coral corals, Cloudbreak is a mighty open coral canyon with three inlets. As with many tropic riff fun trips, the cloudbreak is getting quicker, flatter and more critically.

Lefthanded people then break along a cliff directly in front of the Tavarua Resort restuarant. Dining areas are not as much subject to the swells as Cloudbreak, but it does break in ultra-flat waters over sharp-edged tops of corals with shafts that are usually half the sizes of Cloudbreak. With less wave and higher tide, the place can be the imagination of any surfers, often referred to as "skatepark" in the sea.

If the winds and waves are not ideal for Namotu Left or Cloudbreak, they can be great for Tavarua Rights; a funny sea on the south-eastern side of Tavarua Isle. While Tavarua Rights has been described as "playful" and "user friendly", it can be serious about its scale. Magnificent for long and shorter planks, the waves are best from November to March, but can present themselves in any time of year when the predominant south-easterly winds and the Tavarua Right weather is either windy or off-shore.

Tavarua draws advanced windsurfers who want to test some of the best surfing in the whole wide range, while Tavarua also has Kiddie Land, which isn't really a Surfbreak. The Kiddie Land is actually the distant interior of the restaurants and is a great place for beginners, bodyboarders and even SUPer to go riding their first bump.

The Tavarua Village has full beginners kit for all age groups and the personnel is ready to support enthusiastic schoolchildren. Namotu is Namotu Lefthand for Namotu - a world-class breakwater that is more than forgivable for its renowned neighbour Cloudbreak. Namotu Lefthand can be the excitement of life from 6 to 15 ft, but from two to six ft the waves are a short board, fishing, long board or SUP-holiday.

Namotu Lefthand is as much a legend in the windsurfing industry as Cloudbreak is in the windsurfing industry. Approximately one kilometer to the north-west of Namotu Island, on the other side of the canal, the Wilkes Pass is a mighty right bank that ruptures at the south tip of a long barriere islet.

Further north-west of the Wilkes Pass barriere is Desperations, a right and lefthand summit that has a break. It is as well known in the windsurfing as it is in the windsurfing worlds. If windsurfing is going to be a problem, they are usually a go-ahead for surfers and kitesurfers to do windsurfing inside the riff and canals or to test their windsurfing abilities under the most difficult waves.

It is also a great place to build kiting abilities, as beginner kitesurfers can remain in the leeward and leeward side of the islands to check how much winds they can withstand. And Tavarua has a lot of gear. The Tavarua is the place to sail the crystalline cliffs, wave in Kiddie Land and the swimming pools, or to try more serious SUP surfing at Cloudbreak, restaurants, Tavarua Rights and Namotu Lefts.

The year-round rainfall in Fiji is the same as the South Pacific cycle time. Though it is uncommon for ayclone to hit Fiji directly in a particular year, it can occur, usually every 5+ years for a brief time ( 3-5 days) in very intensive and very poor weathers.

Fiji also has arid and humid sides similar to Hawaii; dryer in the western and southerly parts, much more precipitation in the eastern and northern parts. Waterways has relations with all of the plots of land at the southwestern or southerly end of the archipelago. Like most of the Pacific, the Fiji Isles are blown by the summer wind from June to September from the SE.

The South Pacific receives South hemispheric waves all year round, and it is very uncommon for Fiji to experience a northern bottom wave out of seasons. Reliable golfers can have their own gear, but racquets and golf clubs are available on the Isle. The Tavarua skating rink was created by Tony Hawk himself and has two differences in height for beginners and advanced skiers.

Utilisation of stand-alone systems and gear (SUP, kayak etc.).
