The Munro Trail

Nicknamed after George Munro, the New Zealand scientist who came from 1890, this 12.8 mile single-lane gravel track provides wide overviews under the magnificent Cook pines that Munro himself established. You' ll enjoy stunning scenery and the 1,600-foot rise will take you through a rainforest of oak, iron wood, eucalyptus and pines.

There' s a viewpoint just 2.5 leagues away. You' ll enjoy breathtaking vistas of the Maunalei Gorge, and on a clear sunny days you can see all six of Hawaii's isles at once. You can also cycle or walk to the top of Lanaihale (House of Lanai), the highest summit of the Lanai at 3,370ft.

Lanai is currently hosting the Cooking Hawaiian Style in its sixth series, a TV show broadcast in 7 different locations via the Lifetstyle Network, Direct TV and Time Warner Cables.

During the 1990s Lanai was part of the Hoku-headlined comedy trio "The 3 Lokal Boys". He is no stranger both to the cosmopolitan and domestic television shows Great Food Networks Truck Race, co-host with Anthony Bourdain's NO Reservations, Jake and the Fat Man, Da Braddah's, Baywatch Hawaii, and so on::

Last time he competed against Jake in Hawaii 5-0 in the 6th game. In the theater Lanai tried her luck as Vince Fontaine in the performance Greatness.
