What do the Guamese think of being US nationals?

I suppose you're referring to the Native Chamorros. I am not Chamorro, but I am happy to be living in Guam and being an US national ( "my mum and dad passed by in the 1980s as immigrants"). Answering your questions gives you a wide variety of responses.

A number of folks (especially the locals) believe that the US is hurting the old Chamorro country. One of the most remarkable is the US soldier who wants to construct a shooting area in Ritidian (a $78 million contract). I was in Ritidian and it is not only an animal shelter but also a place near many historic sites/caves of antique Chamorros.

There is a protest against the shooting gallery "Prutehi Litekyan" (sign the petition). Guam folks are thankful they' re US nationals. There are only a few disputes like Ritidian, the right to vote and the country's legal and state. On the other hand, I'm not a local, so I really have nothing to say.

Inhabitants near Guam's army base do not see any increase in activities near base sites.

When the US army prepares for a North Korean demolition, the people of Guam, threatened by the rocket attacks from North Korea, have not known. The people who are living and working near the two major Guam Air Force Base and Naval Base - Andersen Air Force Base and Naval Base Guam - see no additional activities despite the menaces.

Yigo's daddy hot dog stall, Tony Blas, who lives in the north hamlet, said he could see the airplanes land near Andersen. There was no increase in this level of air traffic, he said, and in fact there were fewer aircraft on Monday than normal. Said he was not concerned about North Korea's threat because he believed in the US and its most ally.

And if anything should go wrong, there's not much to do in Guam, he said. 78, Faye Flores, who lives less than a nautical miles from Andersen and can see the aircraft come and go, said nothing has altered in terms of grassroots activities. Said she was not very concerned because there are little people who can do when Guam is mugged.

Several of her relatives have proposed that she move to the States, but Floores said that Guam is at home and she is not. She also went to the police station in Andersen, where everything was natural, so she said that there was nothing for her wife and daughter to worry about.

"There is no fear," Flores said. At Agat, near the naval station, Casmine Babauta, 26, who works at the Old Spanish Bridge Shop, said she looks out the windows, which overlooks the sea near the station and has seen nothing out of the ordinary. They said the shop was expecting a drop in the number of visitors who shop there because of the recent North Korean threat, but that did not happen.

And, because Southern living is more laid-back than other parts of the country, many of her acquaintances are not very concerned about North Korea's terror. Nor does she believe that North Korea wants to confront a supreme power like the United States. As well as a permanent civilian present, Guam has its just proportion of exercise on and around the islands, which entails a periodical increase in warfare.

According to a report by the Navy, three states have recently completed a multi-national anti-submarine military campaign off the Guam coastline. At the Andersen Air Force Base for Excise GUAMEX 2017, maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft from New Zealand, Japan and the USA were deployed with the aim of improving performance and enhancing operability between the Asia-Pacific states.

Several aircrafts and subs of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, the Royal New Zealand Air Force and the United States worked together to reinforce relations between them. Marianas Joint Region declared a tactical workout at the former Admiral Nimitz Golf Course, in Barrigada, which ends Tuesday at 2 p. m. and a workout at the outside Apra Harbour Thursday from midday to 8 p. m. The workout sessions are planned to increase the preparedness of army staff, and residents alerted in neighboring areas were advised not to be alerted if they see or hear heightened activity. However, the workout is scheduled to be completed on Tuesday.
