USS Arizona Memorial is our first stop on our full days excursion to discover Oahu. The Oahu daily itinerary is conceived so that you can see many of Oahu's top sights in one go. Take a flight to Honolulu International from one of the other Hawaii islands. You' re going to be spending the rest of the afternoon exploring Oahu.

Mokoli' i Iceland (also known as "Chinaman's Hat") seen from Kualoa Beach Park is one of our many coastline stations. The excursion begins at HNL Honolulu Oahu International Airports. A festive stop in Punchbowl and a stop at one of the island's most popular local pastry shops will be followed by breathtaking scenery outside the Honolulu hubbub along the upwind and northern sides of Oahu.

Lanikai is considered one of the most stunning in Hawaii with its powdered sandy dunes and blue-water. There' s no place to put Lanikai. You' ll have to leave your car off the road and find one of the roads to the shore. Take 30 min. to see Lanikai and get a ride. Please be aware that this first part of the journey takes about 4h30.

When your Oahu trip is restricted by arrivals and departures on the same date, take notice of how much of your planning has actually taken. You can customise stations, printout route descriptions and/or upload to your smartphone from this second part of the map.

Now we come to the second part of your Oahu-trip. From Lanikai Beach we drive northwards to Oahu's upwind. The Byodoin Temple and its surroundings is really a breathtaking spectacle. Wait here for up to 30 min. In Kualoa Beach Park you have the chance to visit Mokoli'i, better known as Chinaman's Hat.

Watch our article about a stop at Kualoa Beach Park. Wait here for 15 mins. Wait here for up to 15 min. Lunches in Kahuku and beyond - If you like prawns, the North Shore Oahu Prawn Carts are well known. It is recommended to share a dish, as we have another catering station about 30 min. away.

Take 30 mins time for dinner. There are many scenic sandy spots along the north coast of Oahu. We' I. D.'d Sunset on the map. and the Banzai pipeline at Ehukai Park is just a kilometer from Sunset Avenue. A further attraction at the North Shore is the shore, where the TV show HOST was made.

A description of how to get to "LOST Beach" can be found here. Take 30 min to one or two North Shore beaches. Unfortunately, it is back to the airfield. The second part of the journey takes five and a half hour to get to the Aiport.

Combination travel times and times at each stop are calculated at 9h30. Plan your HNL flight to and from Oahu airport: Take your free and easy way from the door to the parking lot. We' re estimating it'll take about 30 mins.

Leave at least one and a half hrs. to get fuel, give your rented vehicle back, take the bus to the airfield station, get your tickets, go through safety checks and get to your gates. You will be charged with the duration of the trip and the surcharges for the restitution of your loan. They should allow at least 11hrs 30minutes on Oahu.

An additional period of additional free play would not do any harm. So if you experience a longer lag, you may need to adapt the inspection schedules accordingly. And Waikiki Beach? Cause we didn't include Waikiki Beach. Why didn't we? Waikiki is not listed for several reason, but the most important one is that it can be a challenging task to find comfortable and cheap to use.

In order to go there, find a car park and go to the shore to enjoy the view and take pictures, another lesson or more will probably be added to our already long itinerary. When you want to go to Waikiki Beaches, it is more effective to do this by changing our Oahu route via Halona Blowhole and Makapuuu Lookout.
