Historical shipyard Chatham

Chatham Historical Shipyard focuses on the collecting, conservation, research and exhibition of items and materials related to maritime heritage. Concentrations are concentrated on the individuals who worked at or were associated with the Chatham Dockyard. Three historical battleships are on display: Gannett HMS, a Victorian Royal Navy sloop that has recently been extensively renovated; Cavalier HMS, the last operative Royal Navy destructor during World War II; and Ocelot HMS, a Cold War sub and the last Royal Navy ship built in Chatham.
