Saturday 24 March the Cook Islands (NZ) Societies, Wellington Pipe Band and Regal Rovers had an open day at the parking lot atorning of Hanson and Stokes St., Newtown.

Victoria University Cook Islands Students Association has set itself the goal of enabling Aotearoa-based Cook Islands young people to become prosperous and carefull. The P.I.C. Netball Club was founded in 1953 by Pacific Islands Presbyterian Church, Newtown, Wellington NZ to meet the evolving needs of its expanding people. The Newtown Community & Cultural Centre was founded in 1977 and acts as a further connecting element in the Newtown community and offers a wide range of community service.
