At about 2:50 a.m. around 66,500 clients suffered an extensive breakdown this m. after a thunderstorm hit the island's electricity network. Drivers are advised to be careful and patient as vehicle use on alternative roads such as Kilauea Avenue, Kinoole Street, Waianuenue Avenue, Komohana Street, Ponahawai Street, Wainaku Avenue and other side roads will be increasing, as the view is restricted due to high rainfall and the roads may be inundated.

The Brown Water Advisories were also published for the eastern coasts of Kauai, Maui and Hawaii Island due to rain.
