About 70 percent of the world's surfaces are flooded, and there are five oceanic regions and 113 sea levels, all of which vary in height and deep. After the Pacific, the Carribean is the most expansive ocean in the world - full of wonderful tropic island and whitish sandbeach. There are also many large coastal destinations such as Cuba, Costa Rica, Colombia and Venezuela. At the end of 2013, the Arctic Ocean was presented in newscasts around the world when a Soviet vessel, Akademik Shokalskiy, got bogged down in the icy ground with researchers, travellers and reporters on Christmas Eve. In 2000, the Southern Ocean made its mark on the world' s annals when it became the fifth ocean in the world.

The Antarctic Ocean was formed by the Hydrographic Organization from the south of the Atlantic, Pacific and India Ocean and entirely encircles Antarctica, which is why it is sometimes called the Antarctic Ocean. It was controversial when it was made because there are humans who think of the world as just four seas, the Pacific, the Atlantic, India and the Arctic - but it is now formally recognized as an ocean and included on all contemporary charts.

The Indian Ocean was an important trading lane for traders and individuals engaged in the trading of seasonings between Asia, North-East Africa and Europe in the sixteenth and seventeenth century. Ships brought their herbs from the northern regions to various locations further southwards, such as Kenya and Zanzibar, sometimes taking months to get there.

Indians are the hottest ocean in the world. In the south it borders on Antarctica, in the north with Southern Asia with India and in the western with Africa. India and Australia are in the east. Oceans change their course twice a year, in winters and summers, and the ocean current widens by 20 cm each year due to the shift of the continents.

Historically known for its large ocean steamships that travel from Southampton to America, the Atlantic is the site of one of the greatest catastrophes in shipping as the RMS Titanic foundered on its first flight from Southampton to New York on April 15, 1912, after meeting an ice mountain. The longest battlefield in World War II, the Battle of the Atlantic, also took place here.

Germans, battleships and subs faced the British, Canadian, US and Italian allies and the fight was long and tough. Covering 20 percent of the earth's expanse of the ocean, the Atlantic Ocean is located between Africa, Europe, the Southern Ocean and America. Besides the wonderful tropic isles, the Pacific Ocean is known for two things for most humans - the first is the film South Pacific, which is inspired by James A. Michener's novel A. Michener's South Pacific Theatre.

On the other hand, the most celebrated pre-World-World-war battle, the Pearl Harbor bombings off the Isle of Hawaii on December 7, 1941, which took America to Warcraft. It lies between America in theheast and Australia in the West and occupies 30 percent of the earth's expanse of the ocean.
