Dine at Duke's Waikiki, a sandy beach café and barbecue and find out all about the iconic Duke Kahanamoku, an Olympian swimming star who made windsurfing famous.

Defy the crowd and float in the hot water of Waikiki Beach, where the ocean breaks and leaves a flat, quiet shoreline that' s ideal for floating on a canoe.

Large group? Great fun! 8 things to do on Oahu with children

During a recent "big" familiy outing to the island of Oahu, Hawaii, our multi-generational group got together and made a full listing of all the things we wanted to do while we were there. Here is our schedule of fun'big' Oahu families. It is strongly recommended that you get your own headphones (also for the children) to get the full enjoyment. 5 ) Posture for images - We have taken our whole familiy on a nice outing. We feel at ease and refreshed, which is of course the best occasion to take photographs of the whole group.

You will find wonderful sandy areas and small cities where you can have a quick bite or dinner along the way. Oahu's is a big place for Oahu, so make sure you inspect a famed shrimp or Thai eating lorry for an adventure torch. Regular pits to visit a square or sandy spot or to get a snow cone keep the children entertained while the grown-ups are enjoying the trip and the landscape.

But one thing is for sure, you don't get strayed to an isle, at some point you end up where you used to.
