I thought you might want to see a freehold flat in Maui. Wouldn't like to divide a brief sojourn ( (5 or 6 nights) on Oahu between north and south because it's too much movement for me, so I'd probably be staying all the while on Oahu in Waikiki and driving to the north or windward sidebeaches for a couple of days. They don't really have any other hotels on the north shore and I guess (I haven't remained in freehold apartments on Oahu) that it might be tough to get a holiday rent on the north shore for less than 6 overnight stays or a weeks if Turtle Bay Resort didn't work for you (and maybe not wert the extra clean-up charges if you could find a condo).
