When geothermic is not your thing, Rotorua is also the North Island's main city for adventurous pursuits with many exciting pursuits such as Zorbiking, MTB, tobogganing and parachuting, to name but a few. Raglan is the only place to go when you arrive in Auckland.

It is a great place for Aucklanders to play in winter and it is hard to understand why. It' s less than three hour drives to the Mount, but you'll be a million leagues away from the city's humming drums as you sit back and unwind in this vacation paradise. If you want to catch some swells, go for a walk on the tabloid or eat something tasty in one of the many pubs and diners in the citys many, the Mt Maunganui is a fantastic traveler.
