Day trip Oahu to the Kauai Waimea Canyon Wailua River Tour

You will be transferred to Honolulu airport and fly with Hawn Airlines to Lihue, Kauai. This trip takes you to the edge of the stunning Waimea Canyon and lets you admire the canyon. Waimea is home to the sculpture of Captain James Cook, a UK seaman who altered the course of Hawaii's story when he set sail for the port of Waimea in January 1778.

The Waimea and Waimea Canyons Drive will take you to one of the viewpoints where you can see the Waimea and the Grand of the Pacific Canyons. The Waimea and Waimea Canyons are the biggest canyons in the Pacific Ocean and really a spectacular sights. It is 10 nautical miles long, 1 metre broad and more than 3,500 feet underwater.

See the world-class Poipu Bay Resort. At the harbour, take the large open-air ferry along the Wailua River towards the famous fern grotto. Lastly, take a look at the breathtaking 150-foot Opaekaa Falls case series. Then we return to Oahu, where we collect you from Honolulu airport and return to Waikiki.

Kauai to Oahu - Kauai Forum

We' re going in and out of Lihue from home. We have our first sunday or so in Kauai, then we take a scenic airplane between the islands to Oahu. We' re returning from Lihue one Friday in July at 9:50. It is my hopes to get on the airplane in Oahu, get to Lihue, change your pockets, etc. and get on a airplane to LAX without having to leave the Lihue airfield, while at the same t the same moment we maximize the amount of free space we can have in Oahu before getting on the one.

Remember that we spend about 8 nights in Lihue before we go to Oahu to see my sister-in-law and my sister-in-law for the second half of our holiday. I would like to know what is the best timeframe to get from Oahu to Lihue and be at the airfield in good timeframe to get back to the shore for the 950pm?
