The Vanuatu Tourism Australia road show this weekend Vanuatu Tourism Office (VTO) and members of the tourism sector are in Australia this weekend to take part in the Australia road show. Around 150 agencies were asked to test their understanding of the destinations by presenting Vanuatu's latest and best offers. It will also improve current and new trade possibilities between Vanuatu tour operator and tour-agencies.

Vanuatu Roadshow 2018 comprises three events: the first in Sydney on Monday, May 7, 2018, followed by Brisbane on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 and Melbourne on Thursday, May 10, 2018. Adela Issachar Aru, Chief Executive Officer of the Vanuatu Tourism Office, said that each event will feature an engaging agent exchange to get first-hand information and update that will play an important part in enhancing Vanuatu's agency expertise and sensitizing people to everything Vanuatu has to contribute.

"The 2018 road shows will focus on raising Vanuatu's visibility in the Aussie markets by not only raising awareness and information, but also offering the opportunity to establish personal relations with regional carriers, which in turn opens up possibilities for significant growth," said Issachar Aru. Throughout the evening, network meetings were held to allow the agent to meet the organizers in person - the hotel and travel agencies in the sector, followed by a two-course meal and beverages and several occasions to earn a variety of awesome awards, such as a visit to Vanuatu.

Co-operatives met with industrial associates to test their understanding of Vanuatu on a relaxing, funny and educational even. Lively, tradtional Dancer from Vanuatu talked to the more than 100 participants while they fought each other in Vanuatu competitions.

Organized by the Vanuatu Tourism Office (VTO) Australia and attended by Managing Director Linda Kalpoi and Head of Sales Allan Kalfabun, the Sydney meeting provided an engaging agent exchange to get first-hand information and update on how to best align the needs of their customers with Vanuatu's avenues.

The Vanuatu tourism sector donated nine top awards, with the award winning Mervi Rautiainen Dive Adventures winning a journey to Vanuatu with Air Vanuatu, four days at Iririki Island Resort, two days at Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu and two days at White Grass Ocean Resort.
