Norfolk Island Internet

Internet Norfolk Island

Internet Norfolk Island Internet Velocity - Norfolk Island Forum How is the Internet connection on Norfolk Island? Will it be quick enough for onlinegames? Do you know if the pace will increase at some point in the time? Island Internet is via satellite connection, which is not as high as the fastest connection in Australia/New Zealand.

You can seldom stream You YouTube video clips directly - they often need to be download for a few moments before you can see them. In a few years' timeframe, the only plan for the islands' Internet is to switch to the NBN satellites in Australia - but it is still a satellitelink.

Connectivity - Norfolk Island Forum

There' s definitely an internet café in Burnt Pine (the big Norfolk fume, ha ha ha). The place where we spent the night also had Wi-Fi internet although it is not on their website, as far as I can see. Could haul the notebook -- I'm in the housing games and we just can't allow requests to be delayed too long.

Hello Jay, we also had a Wi-Fi internet access in our holiday home (Lavendula Garden Cottage). Wi-Fi is $0.30 per Mbyte. There is no Optus or TELTRA cell phones on the island, although it has been possible to buy specific GSM numbers in Burnt Pine since the beginning of last year. The thread has been discontinued due to apathy.
