Bora Bora Huts
The Bora Bora hutsBali Hai The Bali Hai Trio, as they are called, was shaped by James A. Michener's 1947 novel entitled A. Michener's South Pacific Theatre. Randomly reported in the December 1962 edition of Life Review, the resort's appeal grew and the idea expanded to Tahiti and the South Pacific, the Maldives and finally the Caribbean in the 1980s.
Whilst the styles can differ from place to place, the appearance of most surface vaults is usually inspired by the island or surrounding villages' old homes and linked to the resort's major resorts and beach areas by timber docks. Air photo of St. Regis Bora Bora, Tahiti.
The modest facade of the submerged bungalows is now a synonym for romanticism and only reveals the happiness that can be found in its ramparts, where traditionally designed and naturally made fabrics come together with contemporary luxury. One of the main attractions of the surface bungalows are the glazed surfaces in the floor (or glassy couch tables), called "Tahitian Television", which provide a view of the sea wonder.
Many of these one- or two-storey detached mansions also have a separate terrace where you can go snorkelling directly from your own bays. Select a bungalow retreat that floats over a reef to see a wide variety of technical water creatures. Tahiti TV' in the bottom of an above-water bungalow in Le Meridien Bora Bora.
No wonder that surface staterooms are a favourite option for honeymooners and couples and a favourite holiday spot for many people. A secluded and incredibly picturesque site combined with a personal yet discreet level of personalisation. You will be stroked by a mild breeze in a blue and blue lake in a beautiful scenery of islands and can be taken to your chalet for your morning meal in a floral decorated paddle.
