In November we remained in the Garden Island Resort, and maybe it was just the time of year, but the waters were harsh..... When we went there the next morning I tried to snorkel quickly and gave up after being rocking back and forth in the shells. On Garden Island you will also have problems at low tides, because the corals come to the sea.

However, the reef is just off the coast..... a stroll down some stairs and you are there. Snorkelling on the eastern side of the Isle was the best in Waitabu Marine Park..... totally amazing... one could go all afternoon cutting over small reef tops and spotting huge shells, and then into the deep area, where fissures and crevices perforate all sorts of interesting things!

Snorkelling in Taveuni Palms? We' re mostly scuba diving, but one of these days we were hanging out on the shore near Taveuni Palms. Yes, this is a wonderful place, but this side of the islands doesn't have the best snorkeling in my mind. I' d visit the Paradise on the other side of Taveuni if that's the place you want to be.

The paradise is nice, but it is not a luxurious place like Taveuni Palms. However, the trouble is that paradise does not have a large sandy area. I would choose Qamea for snorkelling directly on a wonderful sandy spot in front of the resor. The most marvelous place in the world.

Situated on a small remote islet off Taveuni, accessible by a 20-minute cruise. In Qamea you will find 14 privately owned Boers, snorkelling and snorkelling. Most of the day the water in front of the resorts is quiet, making snorkelling very simple. Our personnel will also take you by skipper to other snorkeling spots.

Taveuni offers day trips to Taveuni for unbelievable waterfalls walks if you wish. The Qamea is an expensive resorts, and not in everyone's budgets, but I guess it's in line with Taveuni palms pricing prudently. Taveuni Palms, but we didn't stop there. In Taveuni Palms you sit over the shore, where you are standing in Qamea on a literal sandstand.

One of the premium Qamea mansions with its own large outdoor and indoor pools. In evenings when we didn't want to dine in the open-air restaurants, the employees would serve us dinner on our own candle light promenade overlooking the sea and the star. One day after we've saved our pence, we'll definitely be back in Qamea.

I think about coming back to Qamea after a particularly strenuous working week and all the problems at work disappear now.
