Proximity to the Pacific Ocean is the best way to get to all points in the North West, nearer than any other port on Puget Sound. Boat Haven provides moorings, power, refuelling, transportation and local US customservices. The Safeway and some good dining are all within five leagues of Boat Haven.

Wal-Mart is seven leagues eastward on Hwy 101, and Sequim is 15 leagues further eastward with another Wal-Mart and Costco. Haven Petrol Dock provides petrol, gas oil and lubricants. The USCG approves controlled transfer of up to 20,000 gallon of petrol. There are several shipbuilders who work separately at the Haven.

Further naval activities on site or in the vicinity comprise weld, mechanical, hydraulic, fibreglass and timber repairs and paint. Find out more about the boatyard here. Guests dockside current begins at $0.80 - $1.10/ft/day for 120V; 30, 50 and 100 AMP land current is also available. The William R. Fairchild International Airport is only a few min. away from the Port Angeles Boat Haven. The service includes Seattle charters, refueling, servicing, hangar, shed and tie-downs. Port Angeles Boat Haven offers 410 moorings per month for leisure and work boats as well as for guests. There are moorings from 24 - 50 ft (about 7 - 15 m) and up to 200 ft (about 50 m) wide.

Boat Haven is excavated at 15 mph.

Port Angeles Yacht Club - Where yacht enthusiasts and rats meet.

A laid-back yachting association with members of sailboats, cruise ships and non-boatkeepers. Several of our acitivities includes an yearly racing, scheduled cruise, sailboat racing and file sharing. There are mutual arrangements with over 100 other yachting associations that provide our cruise members with discounted or free berths and free admission to the comforts of these other associations for all our members.

A Burger & Brew on the first Friday of each monthly and a Dinner Meeting on the third Friday of each monthly as well as various other societal activities throughout the year. We' ll celebrate the end of the academic year - honours for our High School Sailors and the final boost for the Summer Sailing Program.
