What ferry/terminal? - Guatemala Island Forum
What ferry/terminal? Hey Bronwyn, Pier 2 at the Ferry Buildings, CBD city centre, where the Fullers ferry to the port of Matiatia leaves. Though Matiatia 2 has quay facilities, it is only the newer one on the west side, which is used for Fuller's ferry services today. Kennedy Point Kai is where Sealink ferry boats reach Waiheke Island.
When changing to a ferry from Auckland International Auckland, this is a good choice for a group of 6 people if you share a shuttle bus from the city. To get to Pier 2 at the Ferry Building, either take the Airbus into the CBD, which is located next to Pier 1 (Devonport ferry) and very near the Waiheke ferry.
As an alternative, a taxibus from the airfield to jetty 2 can be more cheap. In Waiheke there are many cabs available for customers and reservations in front of the Matiatia terminal.
