The Norfolk Island Area

Isle of Norfolk: The Kingston & Arthur's Vale Historical Area The film documents the heritage of the Kingston and Arthur's Vale Historical Area (KAVHA) on Norfolk Island. To the observer it offers a better comprehension of the pre-European settlment, the First Settlment (1788-1814), the prison estate (1825-1855), for today's colonists, the Pitcairners as descendents of the Bounty Mutineers, who came to Norfolk Island on 8 June 1856.

Documentaries convey the dramatic and suspense of historic occurrences by dividing the visible reproduction of pictures and artefacts with contemporary cinema, poetical narrative and captivating theatre style film.
