The Molokai also has many well-preserved fish ponds along 20 leagues of its southern shores, most of which were constructed 700-800 years ago.

Kapuaiwa Coconut Beach Park in Kaunakakai is one of the most attractive and famous monuments of Molokai. An unforgettable 1,700 foot trip to Kalaupapa National Historical Park, one of the most isolated villages in Hawaii. The weather in Molokai is very constant, with only slight variations in the year-round.

In the higher altitudes of Molokai it can get a little colder and moister, so wrap a lightweight coat. Molokai's West End is drier and drier, while the East End is moister and greens.
