Great Celebrity cruise 2018: Reviews, Photos & Activity

As the Solstice range was introduced, Celebrity cruises embarked on a new age of bigger ships and higher capacities, but is not yet mourning the small cruise line that provides personalised services. With the advent of the Millennium ships, doubt arose, but the line did quite well and added a number of improvements that delighted even the most stubborn supporters of smaller ships.

The Celebrity Solar tice (2008), Celebrity Equinox (2009), Celebrity Eclipse (2010), Celebrity Silhouette (2011) et Celebrity reflection (2012) messen 122.000 Tonnen (Silhouette und Reflelection sind etwas größer). They are all about 30 per cent bigger than the ships of the Millennium category of Celebrity. The line is returning to its "small ships" with the launch of a new Edge Classic cruise liner, which will each transport 2,900 people.

Solstice Lassen's interiors are the best we have seen for some considerable amount of space, and even on a full voyage the ships are feeling half empty. Also Celebrity has focused on land-based cruise services that allow travellers to travel to destinations such as Alaska, Galapagos and Ecuador.

The Chandris Group, located in Greece, set up Celebrity in 1989, which made the line's name as a high-end large-carrier. Celebrity, taken over by Royale Caribbean in 1997, is operating as a cruise liner group. The introduction of the Celebrity Xpedition programme in 2004 gave the line a new opportunity for its upper, proactive airline base: a unique, up-to-the-minute, one-of-a-kind travel to the Galapagos Islands.

It was so succesful that Celebrity will join the area in 2017 with two more ships - Celebrity Xperience and Celebrity Xploration. Since time immemorial, Celebrity has concentrated equally on the maintenance of its ships and at the same time added new ones to its portfolio. By 2018, Celebrity will be launching its newest product, Celebrity Edge, the first of four ships in its Edge class.

The Edge is a little bigger than most ships of the Solstice Classic with a seating for 2,918 passengers. Lawn Club with its genuine weed on the upper decks was a centre of gravity for all Solstice-grade ships. Our oldest ships in the navy are the Millennium Class:

As these ships have been sailing around the globe once or twice, the line has gotten them quite well and they are all "solticized" to cover some of the most favorite properties -- such as Tuscan Grill and Sushi on five specialist restaurants -- of its newer ships. Celebrity works throughout the entire team with Canyon Ranch for spas such as massage, facial treatment, accupuncture, beauty treatment and tooth bleaching.

Persian Garden Thermaeal Suites with warm ceramics couches are always a cruiser favourite. Celebrity is not as child-friendly as the Royal Caribbean cruise line and has no personality, but it has an outstanding children's nightclub programme plus baby-sitting in the room. Much of the sailor are British speaker with a number that is American and Canadian, British -- especially on Celebrity Silhouette, the homeeports out of Southampton -- and day Australians and New Zealanders (especially on Celebrity Solstice, which message departure from Sydney and Auckland).

Celebrity' expeditions to the Galapagos can also attract a younger, more energetic audience. The line has taken its visualisation to the next stage with the launch of Celebrity Solstice in November 2008. This was followed by the Celebrity Equinox twin vessel in 2009, Celebrity Eclipse in early 2010 and Celebrity Silhouette in 2011, all carrying 2,850 people.

Celebrity Reflection, the last Solstice-grade vessel, started in October 2012 with 3,030 people. In the modernization sector, Celebrity spent over $100 million on overhauling its four Millennium Craft. These four ships have some of the Solstice Collection Quartet's most beloved amenities, among them a crepery and an ltalian steak house.

This was followed by InfoFinity (November 2011), Summit (January 2012) and Millennium (April 2012). In 2015 and 2016, Rooftop Terrace, a top-deck film area and our own barbeque restaurant were added to the facilities of the Rooftop World.
