We' re wondering if anyone else made the Island Hopper plane from Honolulu to Guam? Recently we operated 15-hour Island Hopper 154 from Honolulu through the Marshall Isles (Majuor & Kwajalein) and Micronesia (Kosrae, Pohnpei and Chuuk) to Guam. There was a reward ticket for us (United 30K @) and a kind of pail schedule we had to make just to see the atoles and various isles.

Exploring the Pacific Isles was certainly an interesting way to go. There are a few things you should know about the plane. Firstly, it only works MWF and the best prospects are L-seats directly in front of the wings with L-seats directly behind the wings OK.

You can either remain on the aircraft at each stop (you must always ID all your luggage) or you can take all your things with you and take a few moments in each departures hall. You have them buy a souvenir (usually handmade things or T-shirts), take pictures, look around, use the toilets (take your own tissue ) and just distribute it until they get back on.

If the cabin crew tell you to remain on the plane, just take your things and get out (they won't stop you and you can just get back in - just make sure you go to the terminal, NOT to the arrival desk, so you can just get back in without going through check-in, safety, etc.).

Between Honolulu and Majuro you will be offered a morning snack, and then just a beverage on the other sections (which are in the skies every 30 minutes to an hour). Last time Chuuk jumps to Guam, you get another little one. There' s nothing to buy but beers and sodas in the take-off areas, although we've seen some serious drinks in the take-off area in Majuro.

There are 2 drivers and a technician. It' a long one, but the Marshall Islands are interesting to see.
