Scholars discover a shocking discovery among the Easter Islands! Incredible!

Like they' re not secretive enough....This is unbelievable!the huge rock sculptures spread over the secluded Easter Island are even more impressing than they first appear. The heads are invisibly fixed to objects that stretch metres below the ground. All of the body is coated with old and not yet decipherable scripts, the so-called petroglyphics.

The Easter Island is one of the most secluded populated islets in the whole wide open space and lies over 2,000 leagues off the Chilean coastline. Sculptures, known as Moai, were made by the Rapu Nai between 1250 and 1500 AD. The highest of the 887 Moai is over 30 ft in size and weights 82 tonnes, according to Wikipedia.

Another, if it had been finished, would have been almost 70 ft in size and weigh 270 t! Unbelievably, many of these huge monuments were taken to different places on the island. All these years we thought they were just heads, but the sculpture clandestinely bury torso under the ground.

Researchers discover a shocking discovery among the Easter Island heads

The monuments of Easter Island's stony heads are well known, but history has even more to offer: the statuary has always hidden torso in the ground. Archeologists have document 887 of the solid sculptures, known as mai, but they believe that there may be up to 1,000 of them on the island 2,000 nautical mile to the West of Chile.

Approximately 150 sculptures are hidden up to the shoulder on the slopes of a vulcano, and these are the most popular of all Easter Islands. The majority of humans only saw pictures of the heads and nobody knew that the sculptures had full-bodied.
