The Starbuck Island (or Volunteer Island) is an inhabited island in the Pacific Ocean and belongs to the Kiribati Islands known as the CPLI. Earlier titles are "Barren Island", "Coral Queen Island", "Hero Island", "Low Island" and "Starve Island".
