Vanuatu Tourist Office is making rapid strides in developing the main attractions and giving the tourist a new flavor of pleasur. Vanuatu Tourism's Tourism Award for Excellence's triumph with over 100 visitors, 58 of them from 5 counties and 37 shortlisted for the final, among them civil servants and arbitrators, is also a true plus for Vanuatu Tourism.

Linda Tilman, an Aussie sales advisor and ceremonial justice of the award, said she was amazed to see how much Vanuatu has developed in a year despite the difficult economic climate, and she is delighted to see how the VTO has supported such an award winning and accomplishing celebration.

Also the organizers are of the opinion that the large number of submissions is a very favorable signal for the upcoming tourism sector in Vanuatu.
