The North Island of New Zealand provides a variety of activities for the whole group. There' s the steamy natural heat with vulcanoes, boiling water sources, gushing sludge baths, "foaming" waterfalls and a high flying gel. The children saw the kivi birds, livestock, demonstrations to shear and milk lambs and cows, and an enclosure.

There' also a funny venture where we went luge riding down, Zorb rolling down and sailed; and last but not least a Maori culture one. A 10 day Roadtrip around the North Island of New Zealand with 3 children. With the skyline (cable car) you go luge downwards.

Join the Maori Village for a Maori dining and perform. Come to Rainbow Springs to see kiwi and see lovely indigenous tree and brook life. Come back to Rainbow Springs in the evenings and watch the fauna and currents under a row of colorful candles. Visiting the city of Hobbiton, famed for the film Lord of the Rings in Matamata, you will have the opportunity, if your schedule allows.

Then you go to Auckland. Before sunset, walk to the Auckland Towers and experience the transformations of the town of Auckland from morning to evening. To buy the Manuka Honey, go to Bees Online. Cruise to the port of Auckland and put the sails in the Sails. Leave Auckland. There' s no better way to get to New Zealand than by car.

It was an extra fee for hiring a rental vehicle from the airports, and it was much less expensive for my familiy to take a taxi into the city and hire the vehicle the next morning in the city. Finding adequate accommodation in New Zealand for a 4-5 person extended household was simple. Those were the places I lived on New Zealand's North Island.
