From Qamea Iceland is two mile (...) from the greater Taveuni islet. From Nadi Internacional aiport, take a flight directly to Taveuni, where you will be picked up at the beach and taken by ferry to Qamea. As soon as you are there, it is the insular lifestyle in a piece of paradise located in, well, a greater piece of paradise in Fiji's less frequented north area.

Quiet and secluded is the keys to Qameas charms, with only 17 luxurious boers (traditional Fiji huts) spread throughout this roomy seaside resorts, full of staggering palm trees and lush greenery. No special familysites, but for older kids there is a wide range of outdoor pursuits such as canoeing, snorkeling and canoeing on the beaches, and there is a swimming pool, a huge chess board and volley.
