Noosa to Fraser Island
From Noosa to Fraser IslandNoosa to Fraser Island Full Sightseeing - Fraser Island Message Board
We would like to go to Fraser Island, but we only have 3 nights in Noosa before we have to go back to Brisbane to get a plane to Sydney. Will you make a reservation in advance (we will be there in mid-September) or waiting until we reach Noosa? I' ve made both a full excursion from Noosa and a 4-night sojourn on Fraser.
This was a great way to see Fraser when we had little but wanted to see more. Hello, Another voice for the Noosa - FI route. Sept., subject to holidays, is usually not our bustling period, so I would be waiting and booking from Noosa.
When were you picked up in Noosa and how long were you on Fraser Island? I' m considering a stop in Hervey Bay and a full days out so we can continue exploring Fraser Island? Hello Sunshine, Yes, you will be on the island longer when you leave Hervey Bay.
Mid-September is also the highlight of our cetacean watching seasons, so this is another adventure not to be missed. September is VERY bustling because it is our time of year for watching whales. Some weekends in September are already booked up for the small group daily trips, so make DEFINITIVE bookings in advance.
The holidays begin on 20 September and the guided visits in small groups will be full long before. I' m trying to remember the relapse period, maybe it was 6-19 o'clock? When you can drive from Hervey Bay, you should have much more to do. While we were on the island, we made a small fly over the island, that was amazing, it was great to see the lake and the island from above and then we landed on the shore again.
Hello Tara, As most have said, the starting point is a shortcut for a one-day trip to Fraser Island, there's nothing wrong with Noosa, it's just a little further away from your primary destination, which is Fraser Island. When you can better dive on a trip before September 20, the place can be particularly bustling with all the carpet rivals, even the tailoring seasons are shut in September, so there are not too many stinking filthy fishers around the enclosed areas of Indian Head, Middle Rock and Waddy Point.
Catching whales in Hervey Bay would be a terrific additional feature, as Rob said, pre-book, it can be a lot going on. Hopefully you have a good day, hoping the wheather is good, and hoping that you do a lot, you will like Fraser Island. Hopefully we will have enough round-trip to Fraser Island and watch whales) and then go to Noosa for 2 days before returning to Brisbane.
A last thing, I want to make the bookings as soon as possible, but I'm concerned about the wheather - I'd be disembowelled if it rains. Hello Tara, from Rob's mail #4
