Niihau Boat Tour

Riyadh Boat Tour

Can' t give enough positive feedback about the crew and the boat. Inquiries and reservations can also be made by e-mail at niihauisland@hawaiian.net. Sights include sea caves, majestic waterfalls, secluded beaches and the mysterious island of Niihau opposite the Kauai Canal. The four of our Kauai built boats: It also led us to a local from Niihau who had a small craft shop behind Subway.

Kauai Boat Tour - Kauai Forum

Did anyone take this tour to Niihau for snorkelling? It' a long journey and can be very hard. A long drive, very tough return journey, snorkelling on the edge. Snorkelling in shallow waters with a precipitous cliff from Lehua. The tides were quite heavy the days we were there.

I wish we'd just done a normal Napali tour. DH and I did this tour 1 year ago and although I'm happy that I did it, it was a hard return and the current is very powerful and not for beginners or weakness.

After a few moments, many persons were dragged away from the boat by the tide, had to be "rescued" by the boat crews on surf boards and had to decide to get back on the boat. I' d never do it again. byhrse, I'm happy you raised the subject of force.

Like your group, we had one man who was accidentally driven too far away by the currents and one of the crew had to save her. I' d much rather have had a nice tour off the coast of Niihau, as near as possible, than the stop for snorkelling.

Snorkelling is really far away from the banks of Niihau. The thread has been discontinued due to apathy. Hopefully you will join the discussion by publishing an open subject or start a new one. Na Pali Coast & Niihau boat tour - review of Holo Holo Charters, Eleele, HI

It was unbelievable to have a boat ride with Holo Holo Charters! Wesav delphins and teasurtles and snorkelled near the Niihau-coastline. You make sure that your journey is a holiday in itself! A little tip: If you are booking your journey directly through Snorkel Bob, you do not have to cover the extra charge that a hotel normally charges for the journey!

I would only take this ocean voyage again, they have others on the Isle, but Holo Holo Charters is the one to do and the best prize out of everything I named! That was the climax of our journey to Kauai. The coastline of Na Pali doesn't even look like it.

Nice way to see the Na Pali coastline! On the way to the shore we saw porpoises and spinning whales and Captain Wendell halted the boat a few stops so we could get some good pictures and video of them. It was quite quiet when we went (late September), so the drive to the shore was quite relaxed and nobody seemed to have any sea sickness problems, but my man and I both took Dramamin before we went, just in case.

There is not much of a long stretch of water on the coastline itself, but it is enough to get a good feel for how astonishing the view is and you see a lot of falls and you even go below one at one point. Snorkelling took place off the shore of an archipelago, where there were a barrel of different kinds of seaweed and a few cetaceans.

Na Pali & Niihau journey is a few extra hrs than the normal journey they make, but we knew that although the journey from the shore to snorkelling and then back from Niihau was a little long, I can't mourn it. It travels one tonne in a relatively brief amount of elapsed times, so be ready to move about!

All in all, this voyage was a renunciation from the traditional Caribbean snorkeling and sailing trips (which usually concentrate more on supplying everyone with hull fuel on the way back) and I thought it was a different one. A few hints before departure: take plenty of sun cream, try to get outside if you are seasick (but not in front because you get wet), don't be afraid of what kind of boots you are wearing, you won't be wearing them on the boat anyway, & use the Costco offer for reduced fares (we've already made a saving of about $80)!

Have you been on Holo Holo Charters?
