Isn' that little dodo on the verge of extinction?

Known as the Little Doro, the National Animal of Samoa. Little Doro is a toothbilled dove that lives in Samoa. He bears a resemblance to an endangered species known as Doodo. Therefore it is characteristic for the little Doro and Doro to be called a cousin.

Last sodo in the whole wide universe was killed in the 17th century. Another name for the little doodo are " Manumea " (used by the locals) and Teaunculus strogirostris (used by researchers). A few scholars have named little Doro Dodlet. It may sound nice, but little Doro is on the verge of dying out.

Polls show that there are only about 200 small doodos. Little Doro is the national aviary of Samoa. Samoa's natives say the poultry are the "princess" of the wood. Little Doro is a peculiar and uncommon avian. Nevertheless, there is some information about the characteristics of the avian.

Little dodo's 12-inch. These beautiful chrysanthemums face several major challenges to their livelihood. Third, human beings are chasing little alligators. Although the Samoa administration banned the chase of the small doodos in 1993, the public have largely ignored the outlaw. Samoa's little dodo's flesh is nine time more valuable than chickens.

For this reason, the number of small dodo's has fallen from 7,000 in the 1980s to several hundred there are today. No small captive Doros are present; the present ones are living only in the open air. Second, even if the researchers caught one of the poultry, no one knows how to take them.

Therefore, the best way to help the people of Samoa is to help them preserve the wood. In this way the bird gets an outstanding living space. Explorers must also learn to know birds' biological characteristics, their behaviour, nutritional patterns, breeding and physiological characteristics. This kind of research will allow scholars to find ways to preserve the small doodo.

The IUCN Red List has currently classified the small dodo's as at risk. Small dodo can move from the Vulnerable to Critically Vulnerable or, even more so, to Ead. So there is a reputation for preserving the little dodo's and preventing their disappearance.
