US-Presidency Elections in American Samoa, 2016
Samoa did not take part in the general elections of 8 November 2016 because it is a national state. The five non-incorporated tirritories that sent representatives to the House of Representatives, however, took part in the primary elections. The American Samoa electorate voiced their preference for the candidates of the DR and R party in the country's primary run-off.
Enrolled members of each political group could only poll in their party's primary, while non-affiliated members were entitled to one of the primary elections. and the Republic faction took place on 22 March 2016: There was a meeting of the Democrat Group on 1 March 2016.
