Favourite for gvim/MacVim is mole.....

How is your kiosk set up? Also looks good in the 8-colour-panel. I like the "Oblivion" for edit, but I don't use it, so I redesigned it for TextMate and Xcode 3/4. I' m also currently on a most popular versions of Visual Studio, the GUI colours are all good, but I've erased the kiosk colours (I just want them to be the default colours).

I' m not exactly a video wizard and I almost always use the video kiosk almost entirely for guitar comms that don't really need to be highlighted, so the motivations to fix these kinds of problems have vanished. This looks awesome, please consider placing your source to allow others to track its evolution. The Molokai is not ideal, but I haven't found one I like more for everyday use.

That' interesting - colour scheme as a mirror of our coding philosophie. In fact, I have a tendency to literally reread (and write) the comment. Therefore I just can't use a color scheme that tries to conceal a comment.

I also like an individual schema I made; the colours are mostly from Textmate's Made of Code schema. I' m also using Molokai, but with some small optimizations (darker, almost blackened backgrounds, brighter, more visual commentaries and a more visual line highlight). I' m not sure how it deals with color terminals.

So, I set up Console2 to use solarised colours and then try every colour theme in Vim. "The" schema worked best for me. It' so much simpler to retrieve my employees' codes. I' ve given it a blacker backdrop and added some lacking colours.
