Palau's tradition is rooted in vegetable, pig meat, poultry and shellfish. As a rule, however, there are no typical dishes in restaurants. In the past Palau was strongly affected by US, Japan and Taiwanese culture, so it is only logical that the island restaurants meet this taste.

Cities like Koror have lots of US cuisine. But there are also restaurants in Korea, Japan and China. Practical Bento-Box, a meal tin in traditional Filipino design, is very much appreciated in restaurants and caterers. Tipping is not necessary, but it is becoming increasingly widespread, especially in the restaurants of Koror and other favourite places.

Resort rates in the more trendy resort are more than those of restaurants in the area. In Palau's night life, the visitor will be thrilled by the waterways. As Palau's business centre, Koror has some of the most famous night life locations. The SLC ( "Main Street", Koror Island) is a cosy and cosy place for one or two tranquil drinks.

The Peleliu Club (in front of the main road, Koror Island) is another place near SLC. It' a more lively place than most of these places on the Koror isle. Q-Ball Club (Koror Island) is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long outing. There are several possibilities for an excursion on Malakal Isle.

But most places here are more relaxed than their Koror co-usins. Kramer's Café (Pirate's Cove, Malakal Island, Koror) turns into a pleasant place with a friendly and socially responsible ambience at noon. Palm Bay Bistro (Malakal Island, Koror) is located in the West Plaza Hotel Malakal and has the most renowned brewery in Palau, Red Rooster Draft.

Situated in the West Plaza at the Sea Hotel, the place offers great view while eating. Malakal is situated next to Koror and offers some interesting cuisine. Drop Off Bar and Grill (Main Street, Malakal Island) is considered the best fish bar in the state.

Carp Sea Food (Malakal Island) is another favourite place for shellfish in Malakal, right on the water. Also, the meals in Kramer's Café (Pirate's Cove, Malakal Island, Koror) should be tried by the people. Meduuu Ribtail Restaurant (Palau Pacific Resort, Meyungs, Koror) is considered the best place to eat on the island of Arakabesang.

The Coconut Terrace (Palau Pacific Resort, Meyungs, Koror), also located at Palau Pacific Resort, serves great buffet and a la-carte meals. In the Cliffside Hotel Turtle Cove (Cliffside Hotel, Meyung) serves delicious local food, as well as local food.
