Welcome to New Zealand! Once you've picked up your car in Christchurch, it's a good idea to take a direct dive into the breathtaking countryside you've come here for. Their first trip takes them over the Arthurs Pass, a hilly Nationalpark in the Southern Alps. You will have many possibilities to enjoy the landscape.

Right behind Arthur's Pass Village, to the Devils Punch Bowl Ballerunner, just an hours back through the woods to an epoxy-craterfall. Then, further on the west coast towards Hokitika. You have a long trip ahead of you today, but many good reason to get on your feet. On Haast Pass you pass another beautiful route where you should stop at Thunder Creek Falls - just a minute's stroll from the roads.

It' an hour's ride back through the woods to some of the cleanest and blueest streams you'll ever see. And if the Queenstown activities are not enough for you, you can now take a coach (or bus) ride to Milford Sound.

We' ve got it, Milford Sound is on almost every New Zealander's shortlist, so this is one way to enjoy the South Island adventure in a whole weeks time. Milford Sound is an incredible trip with high peaks, pristine rainforests and incredible landscapes. In order to take a rest from the car, we suggest one of the many coach trips to Milford Sound and then a boat trip on the fjord.
