Following a meet this weekend, the VBF will name the last side to replace the international team at 3x3 Sunday in December. A further 3x3 hoops with great songs, dinner and companions. The Vanuatu Hockey Federation is organising another succesful competition on the Stade Outdoor Hockeyfield.

The Vanuatu Basketball Federation Hoops for Health programme of FIBA is joining this year to support sport and basketball through an on-line promotion of how sport, and especially basketball, has influenced our daily care. We' ve begun our schooling in Port Vila, where we teach kids basketball and ways to a healthy lifestyle.

This year VBF is organizing its first 3x3 contest, which will take place on the Mele Village field on 18 March 2017. There is just one information we would like to let you all know that if you are interested in playing basketball in Port Vila, we are available to use the stade ball field and if you do not know, please direct us on 678 5992085 so we can take you to the game area.

VBF NBDO Kevin Roslyn has agreed with the Port Vila side that they will be playing in a 3x3 minis on a Friday evening in anticipation of the upcoming National Games in December. On Friday, November 18, 2016, the Development Officers of the National Federation of Sport met on the grounds of Independence Park to present and support their various disciplines to the schoolchildren who took part in the fun.

This is a very well done report by Luke Shelley, the communications official of FIBA Oceania about the first sports and environmental mission at Tanoliu Village School. The 7th National Sports Federation went to Tanoliu Village School on 20 October as part of the VASANOC sports and environmental programme to present the pupils with the exhibition "Love your Coast" and specially designed game.

The" Hoops for Health" programme had the privilege of participating in this year's Vanuatu National Youth Council work. Following the PYL Basketball Camp on the Gold Coast, the competitors are now provided with the necessary skill on and off the pitch. The Vanuatu National Provincial Secondary School Games this year took place in Luganville, Santo during the two-week vacation in August.

We at FIBA are proud to unveil the Pacific Youth Leaders Basketball Camp emblem. The Vanuatu Basketball Federation thanks FIBA Oceania for selecting two Vanuatu players to participate in the PYL on the Gold Coast in September this year. The course is only for the EFATE junior high schools on the EFATE isle, which is Port Vila.

NBDO's programme of learning was very successful with all youngsters, young men and women included, and the programme took place every Monday, Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings, and the programme was also open to all young children to help them develop their careers in the game. PSP-sponsored activities will all have the opportunity to participate in a three-day workshops in the VASANOC conference room moderated by Aaron Kearney, an Australian Broadcasting Cooperation reporter and network.

The history of the school clinic's activities is published on the FIBA website and on the Daily Post. Vanuatu young people select tyres as their favourite vacation sport. It is a tale about the school vacation clinic that took place last months during the school holidays here in Port Vila in the Ex FOL sports complex.

I just wanted to tell this FIBA story about the launch of the Hoops for Health program here in Port Vila. The Vanuatu Basketball Federation has started the Hoops for Health program on May 4, 2016. FIBA Oceania Sports Manager Catherine Grawich was here in Port Vila from 19 to 22 April 2016.

The VBF NBDO, Hoops for Health Coordinator and 5 supporters went to the Mele Village basketball field on Wednesday 18 November 2015 to run a 3x3 hospital in the afternoons.

Vanuatu Basketball will receive new gear from FIBA Oceania for its Hoops for Health program on Tuesday, November 17. Vanuatu Digicel, principal sponsorship for 2015 to 2016 in Port Vila. The Vanautu Basketball Federation would like to recognize Digicel Vanuatu as the major sponsors of the 2015 to 2016 tournaments. FIBA Oceania's Catherine Grawich will be here in Port Vila from 23 to 28 October 2015.

Saturday, October 3rd, the Geneva based event starts with a baseball match between Ginia's men's Dark and United' White teams. It was a very successful and hard contest for both teams and Ginia's men came strongly on the defensive and set their very good attack with a win in the lead of 35 - 30 men's United.

Mr.ahit helped us to explain the position of the arbitrators and the division of the playing field for each of them. The SEPSA competition covered all primary schools in Efate Port Vila but few schools took part in this competition. Under the direction of Honorary Consul Florentino `Bong' Serrano, the aim of the Bong' Serrano Foundation is to give Filipinos in Port Vila a sense of comradeship, comprehension and sportiness and to encourage the sport of Basketball as a professional game.

It is an end-to-end policy for all provincial colleges to bring together all provincial colleges that compete in sport. Every week on every week on every fucking saturday, the Pikinini's ("children") are trained to develop their basketball aptitudes. You have shown your interest in this match by having played brief matches on the field every Friday and often going through skill and exercise.

Vanuatu English Community organises a four-monthly meeting every year, especially in Vanuatu, which gathers all the young people from different communities. South Efate School Sports Association (SEPSSA) was founded a few years ago and only put matches on ice two years ago because of some managerial questions.

ESSSA Play Commission appreciates the help of the Association for the organisation of three-day matches to mark Children's Holidays and IPA. Every year here in Vanuatu we have our celebration of July 30. Vanuatu Football Association organised the competition to mark Children's Islanders' Open and Liberty Island ers' Open.

Vanuatu Basketballverband, the referee, the game leaders and the supporters as a whole are happy about the support of FIBA. The Efate Championship League formerly known as the Efate Cup League is one of the most important sports events in the nation is now back this year.

It is not the first Vanuatu they have visited, they have had a close connection to the Sia Raca Hockey Clubs in relation to contests in and from Vanuatu and Noumea in recent years. The Vanuatu Hockey Federation organised the 3-on-3 hockey competition for under 16 youth programmes in Vanuatu for the first ever in the world.

Last Saturday, 28 April, the tournament took place from 10:00 to 14:00. The Vanuatu Basketball development programmes began on Friday 27 January 2012 on the stadium grounds. The Basketball Association in Port Vila is back in business and will be chaired by Franck Franconieri, who was newly voted in last November.

This association faces the challenges of reviving the game and focusing on youth empowerment. The Gladstone hockey players Jacob Owen and Marcus Hubele will be traveling to Port Vila next weekend to see the Vanuatu civilization and on vacation to play the game. They were part of the Gladstone youth volleyball club in April 2011 against the Vanautu National U-20 side in QLD.

Vanuatu Basketballverband is organising a second referees' hospital on the stadium grounds on 22 October 2011. Approximately 14 people from 6 different basketballgens in Port Vila. Since then it has been found that the standard of the game has increased in this phase since then.

It is jointly organised by the Commission for Women and Sport in Oceania and Vanuatu. First Vanuatu Olympics Vues workshops on Thursday 6 and Friday 7 October 2011 in Port Vila. The Penama Interscondary Shool Athletics (PISSA) is an international sporting events organized by the Penama Interscondary Shool Athletics Council since 1995. It is an yearly meeting of pupils from different grammar colleges in the province of Penama to meet and play different types of sporting events. During his vacation in Santo, AYAD Nick Cooper took the opportunity to attend the Charpius Basketball Stadium in Lauganville.

Stanford Gareleo NBDO has made great efforts to visit the PISA (Penama Inter School Secondary Association) matches in Maewo this time. Stanford was committed to helping the PISA organizing committee with his basketbal ltournament, which he flown to Santo on Wednesday to take a hired ship to Maewo that landed on Thursday mornings.

In Vanuatu the evolution of the sport is continuing and this year for the judges. In Vanuatu for the first Egyptian tournament, arbitrators applied the system of three-man arbitrators. We are lucky to have our women's side competing in the South Pacific Games. The VBF organized a strategy workshop to debate the basketball of Vanuatu. Efate is the Efate School Sports Associacion (ESSSA), an organization that includes all Efate related high school.

It is the seasonal sporting contest that unites all of our school. Both Tagavanua and Sia Raga 1 women's basketballgroups dumped their semi-final rivals on Saturday 25 June to make it to the grand final of the Efate Cup in Exfol on Saturday 2 July. The Vanuatu Hockey Referees Association had its first gathering on June 21.

Tagavanua and Sia 1 fought for first place in the women's division, Tagavanua defeated Sia 1 in turn 14 and advanced to first place. On Saturday, June 11, a brief but charming demonstration of the referees' uniform was made between a resident Junior Mahit and the SDO Stanford Bule of the Vanuatu Hockey Federation in the gymnasium of the Ecole Colardeau.

On June 4, Rhymestorm-Au Bon Marche referred to the Ecole Colardeau's ECL Sunday baseball calendar. The Vanuatu Hockey Federation (VBF) shows Vanuatu hockey enthusiasts that every Saturday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. they play interesting matches on the Colardeau courses. A lot of folks around Vanuatu knew the Efate Cup League and are interested in getting the results for every match every sunday.

The Efate Leagues attract many Basketballfans every Saturday to see matches and see how the team' talents and abilities are improving in the team. The second round of the Efate Division saw many interesting matches every Saturday on the courses of Colardeau. AS6emeKM has had a very close connection to the Sia racquetball team since 2004, when AS6emeKM first came to visit Sia racga in Port Vila.

On this first journey, the New Caledonian gave the Vanuatu Golf Clubs an unforgettable experience. The Vanuatu Hockey Federation organizes a knock-out competition in July to keep hockey in Vanuatu alive and build hockey skill. Each interested party is kindly requested to inform us before signing the programme. UK20 Mens national baseball squad came back from their QLD race last weekend and won 1 match out of 5 games.

The Vanuatu side did well despite the loss, playing at a high standard and only lost little to their seasoned outfit. The Vanuatu squad travelled about 1400km on a crew coach through the cities of Qld during the course of the weeks; Gladstone, on Saturday, January 7, 2011, many important matches took place between the squads.

In the course of May, VBF will renew and modernise the outside facilities of the Stade football fields with the assistance of UNELCO. Upgrading the game will help make sure that the sport will continue to flourish in the run-up to the South Pacific Games. As soon as the upgrading is completed, VBF will look for ways to run more Pikini baseball and a 21 Youth League for Vanuatu's next generation team.

Round 7 of the new Vanuatu Basketball Efate Championships was held on Saturday, April 23, with thrilling and scant results. Vanuatu National U-20 Mens will be travelling to QLD, Australia this weekend to play Gladstone, Bundaberg and Noosa. It is made up of 17-19 year old Efate League members from the new Efate League.

The new Efate Cup will be the third round of the tournament this weekend for those who love to playketball. In the last 3 weeks there have been matches every weekend in the Colardeau-Schule, with some tight fights and outstanding teams. Fiba Oceania Allstar Tours began with the arrival of the Vanuatu contingent in Sydney on Sunday, January 9.

December 4 was the last juniors baseball shooting for 2010. Conga atulations with the Vanuatu sub-20s Samantha Lini, Roslyn Willie and Aaron Daniel, who will be part of the FIBA Oceania Allstar Teams in Australia in January 2012. VBF Juniors launched its basketbal programme on 1 October with great acclaim.

Development workers have begun their studies in elementary and secondary education in Port Vila. SATUDAY October 17 will be highlighted in the story of Vanuatu basketball as the birthday of FIBA 33 in the state. The Graphic Image has declared its willingness to support the introduction of the FIBA 33 in Vanuatu.

The Vanuatu Basketball Federation congratulates our recently appointed Chairman of the National Olympic Committee, Mr Antoine Boudier, and the four other new members who have been appointed on Friday 16 October. PISSSA matches took place from Monday 10th to Saturday August 16th at the Ambae Bulu Schule on Ambae Isle.

The FIBA Oceania Zone Development Officer (ZDO) Mr. Ryan Burns reached Port Vila, Vanuatu on Tuesday, August 18. Vanuatu Basketball Federation (VBF) arranged for Ryan to meet VBF Development Officer Peter Izono in Luganville, Espiritu Santo.

The Unelco Primary League is another big success for this year. The Vanuatu Hockey Club is prepared to begin its summer term for this year. This year' s first round of this year' s league has now been concluded and is holding a mixed knock-out contest from 16 to 19 June.

A number of classes were held in Port Vila from 2 to 17 May, attended by Ryan Burns, FIBA Oceania Zone Development Officer, the Vanuatu. The Vanuatu Basketball Federation organised its annual general meeting on Thursday 5 February with the support of Vasanoc.

Shefa Basketball League's final competition was a knockout in all four division of the team. The Vanuatu Basketball Federation will hold its General Assembly in January 2009. The Shefa Basketball Liga is currently organising its 2008 Provincial Championship with groups from all six Vanuatu counties.

This year 2008 Shefa has successfully finished its championship-programme. Both the Shefa and New Caledonia's Northern Province divisions have a frequent programme of exchanges. From September 15th to 21st the Sia racga Shefa Basketball League organizes the AS 6eme KM in Noumea.
