Writers produce writing materials for various sorority communication, which includes (but is not restricted to) e-mail newsletter (The Crest and Connections), soft copy, print and our member journal The Anchor.

English Department of Sigma Tau Delta

This is Sigma Tau Delta. What is it? The Sigma Tau Delta is the International English Honor Society, established in 1924. This award honours and honours outstanding achievements in teaching and writing in bachelor's, master's and specialist courses. The Sigma Tau Delta opens up new possibilities for publication, fellowships, internships as well as networks. Sigma Tau Delta organizes entertaining and informal activities at WashU that enable college and college faculty to engage in a socially responsible environment.

At the beginning of each term Sigma Tau Delta introduces new members. In order to register, please complete and send a complete application form together with a copy of your certificate to the Sigma Tau Delta mail box on the first level of Duncker, together with the one-time $50 fee. Candidates must be major subjects, minor subjects or minor students who have at least a B-average in their English/writing education and their entire GPA.

Candidates must have attended at least 2 terms at the university and have attended at least 2 English/writing courses beyond the first semester requirement. Though you are no longer an activ member of the WashU section, Sigma Tau Delta is a lifelong one. You can still take full benefit of your enrollment in a grad program with an open section.

There is an Epsilon Youth Exchange website for those who do not want to loose contact with Sigma Tau Delta, which is devoted to making your membership easier, regardless of where you currently live or your capacity to contact community.
