Natives of Guam

Like Guam may impact Hawaii: Scientist: Chamorro have Indian ancestry. Commenting on a Chamorros genetic research report, the chief researcher said it was "a great surprise" when explorers found a link between the aborigines of Guam and the Pacific isles. The results were presented by Miguel Vilar, a research author and motivational anthropologist, in a presentation at the University of Guam on Tuesday.

She is the scientific director for National Geographic's Genographic Project, an effort aimed at using the participant's genes to identify and identify ancestors. There was no room available in the overcrowded auditorium of the university during his talk. A long time ago, Mexican citizens came to Guam, and according to when they came, they may already have been part of a blended European-American genepool, he said.

It studied the 200 participants' genetic material gathered in two different timeframes - the first in the 1990s and 00s. There were eighty-five from Guam, 31 from Saipan and six from Rota. Chamorro, Carolinian and a mixture of both took part in the random test.

Approximately 85 new Guam users entered the competition in 2013. Approximately 69 of the new rehearsals were Chamorros. The results of the survey confirm that Chamorros arose somewhere in eastern Indonesia, Vilar said. And in addition, Vilar said the dates showed Indian descent in Chamorro showed genetic material.

Virtually all Chamorro DNA tribes showed 3 to 4 per cent of Vilar's Indian lineage. He said that the results of his research show that Mexicans had about 50 to 70 per cent of Indian descent. "The Spaniards brought men over from Mexico until the seventeenth and mingled with the Indian populace in Mexico," he said.

The research also came to the conclusion that each Chamorro subject in the survey had an approximate 20 per cent common sense knowledge of Europe. He said it was not clear what the 100% Chamorro-dena of an individual's genetic material would look like at this point because it is scientifically and technologically limited. Additional insights into the ChamorroNA could be found if more Chamorros were to participate in the scheme, he said.

She was the twenty-ninth in the UOG President line. Top-class keynote speeches who have been sharing their know-how on various subjects with the academic communities are represented in the group. It will be available next weekend on the website of the Guam Univeristy, said Jonas Macapinlac, spokesperson of the Univeristy.
