Fly from Rarotonga to Aitutaki...Help! Rarotonga and Aitutaki for the end of August until later because I thought I might see a lower price or that the new Kia Orana Airlines would begin to offer a better price. Banderaiten are used for regular services to all destinations except Aitutaki and also for charter services. A third banderaite would mean that they would have an additional aircraft, but they would probably not increase the number of departures, as most isles don't have enough people for additional departures per weeks.

SAAB 340 is used almost entirely for the Aitutaki-Toute and is used quite high. The SAAB 340 is quite interesting when used for larger service work, with the two bands running parallel to Aitutaki all tag (same schedules ) and with a smaller timetable to the other isles.

What's wrong with non-refundable travel cards? Please note that there are some non-refundable seats for Aitutaki in September this year, but not very many. I was able to make cheap, non-refundable bookings last year by making the reservation many moths in advance. Not many ( if any) non-refundable flights were available one single day before take-off.

I don't like the fact that a round trip from Rarotonga to Mauke is as expensive as a round trip from Auckland to Rarotonga, but it will be until there is a contest. While it should be noted that there were previously two national carriers, competitors have forced one of the carriers (Cook Island Air) out of operation because the population of the Outlying Isles could not provide assistance for regular services by two of them.
