Hiking with a guide

It is not a playground as we expected - but a trip to Kowloon Gardens, where there are flamingoes, sculptures, native flora, ancient gardens and probably Taihi Dancer. Close to the cathedral is Hong Kong Industrial Gardens with a fascinating Teemuseum in a UK army build. We' ll take the view before we return to Hong Kong to take the tramway to West Central Market (a UK traditonal grocery market), followed by a tour of China's medical and dry seafood stores.

Supper is served in a typical regional eatery. The hike is 6.5 mile, 10 km long. The art of the Victorians is mirrored in the area of Tai Tam, Hong Kong's biggest verdant mountain lungs, where a leisurely stroll past a large watershed of embankments, viktorian bridge, pumping stations and storage lakes.

Afterwards a touristic attendance on the Stanley Market follows. Ta tam Vickyrian watershed - we go for 2. Five leagues, four kilometres below a road network for a 150-metre run. Dragon's Back - we go 3 mile, 5 km with up and downhill of 180 sqm.

We will return to Hong Kong by overnight boat after supper on the isle. Today's hike is 6.5 miles, 10 km with climbs and descends of 100ým. Bride's Pool Stroll - where your guide will teach you about the myths, past rocks, creeks and swimming pool before we take a forest trail and then on to our first glimpse of China as we survey the city of Shenzhen.

Continue on a rolling path to Tai Oh - one of the last preserved fishermen's village and a photographers' paradise! Afterwards we cross the islands for supper before we return to our hotels. The hike is 9 km, 14 km long. Afterwards, a stroll along the pristine "Hollywood" street to a typical China temple: the Man Mo-Tempel.

We' ll take a cultural path near Ping Shan - past Hong Kong's biggest pagoda and then we' ll be visiting the city of Yuen Long. Later in the day you will be taken to Wetland Park, where you can enjoy butterfly and migrating flock.
