What is the best part of the year to visit the Tahiti Islands? It is the wet seasons in January..... but that doesn't necessarily mean that it will be raining all the while. I' m always in Jan/Feb.......which is the core of the wet seasons and I had much more good wheather than bad.......but anything can happend within a certain 2-week period....and there is no way to know in advanced if you have 2 fixed or 2 perfectly good wheather or 2 in between.

Regular wet seasons are dispersed downpours during the day....usually 10-30 minutes duration....with long cleaning intervals in between...more of the downpours appear at nights than during the outdoors. BUT....if a big wind comes through while you are there, you could possibly get heavy rains for a whole weekend.
