Best Beaches on the Island - Review of Achla Beaches, Andros, Greece

Note that the approach by vehicle is very hard and the 8 km from the highway are so hard that the descent can take more than 40 minutes. Ohla is definitely one of the most beautiful sandy places I have ever seen. Alas is one of the island's best spots, unfortunately not easy to reach! However, the waters were fantastic and the sand so calm! Be sure to come and see it for a diving trip! Infinite sandy area with clear, green-blue waters. There are no amenities such as parasols and loungers, but it is definitely not to be missed.

Northern, southern or central Andros Island for the first time - Andros Forum

Hello everyone, my man and I are planing an island tour (2-3 days) to Andros as part of our 10 night sojourn in the Bahamas starting Christmas-New Year this year. I' ve done some research, but I still can't say which part of the island (north, center of southern Andros) is best suited for first-time visitors.

There are some beautiful walks (but not a must). but that' all included and we don't want that. Which are the best sands in the northern and southern regions? It looks too far away in the northern part, so we probably have to hire a vehicle. Maybe we can go down South on the bike.

We' re not diving, but we want to go on a snorkel trip. There' is a good reasons why many places on Andros are all included. and I know what I'm talking about. It is a great place to spend the night, family-owned and run, very similar to the great hosts.
